Rebuilding the math foundations

Magoosh was just ideal for me. After taking the GRE for the first time I had little hope on getting such a high score on the second attempt. The vocabulary builder flashcards,the lessons I watched an took notes from, and the many practice questions are definitely to blame for my improvement.

Magoosh is the best GRE source I've come across. Its math section is exceptional, with a wealth of in-dept videos that comprehensively cover the materials on the exam. Its bank of math questions is not only impressive but actually harder than the actual GRE, so that even number-averse people like me can survive on in the quantitative portion.

My Magoosh practice encompassed all the necessary math knowledge I was missing, while also being an excellent source of practice and problem solving strategies. I believe that in my case, lacking any real math talent, a relatively short time studying with Magoosh paid off big time and allowed me to meet my goal.

The lessons give clear directions on how to prepare and how to strategically answer GRE questions. Also, the practice questions provide sufficient exercise and a simulating experience. I was super strong in verbal and needed tons of help with math (it had been ten years since my last math class!) and all the videos and questions made it possible for me to make the awesome gains that I had. I'm not going to lie: there were days I would get extremely frustrated, but if you trust the process and put in the work, Magoosh will get you great results.

It has been a while since I've seen or used many of the math concepts tested on the GRE, so the Magoosh math videos were extremely helpful to me. I appreciated how the videos thoroughly explained the concepts and also gave practice problems. I loved being able to do the practice problems anywhere, since all you need is internet connection. I watched most of the videos and did about 100 practice problems for each section. I had very little time, but Magoosh helped me get up to speed very quickly. Thank you!

I had initially planned to take the test on 17th of July but had to postpone the exam due to some unavoidable personal commitments. I finally took the exam on 21st of August and managed to score 322. I don't think I would have managed to get this score without Magoosh. The video lessons were excellent and Practice Questions were similar to what I faced on the big day. A big thank you to Chris for making the dreaded Verbal section look easy, Mike, without him I wouldn't have scored a perfect score in Quantitative section, Lucas for TOEFL (I scored 106) , Rachel for her email responses and feedback as well as everyone within the Magoosh Community who are always ready to provide support to students like me.
