我买了几个曼哈顿准备书,ETS的Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Excellent practice resources and insightful explanations

Although I took math courses in college, I hadn't dealt with a lot of the GRE-style math concepts since high school (or earlier) so between military service and my undergrad, that's 15+ years. Combining the Magoosh lessons / practice questions with official study materials gave me a methodical process for identifying weaknesses and strengthening them. Although my quant score was lower than I'd expected, it was significantly better than it was when I began studying 45 days ago - more than 10 points from my diagnostic test I took prior to beginning my studies.

I thought the math lectures were great. I feel like I got a much more intuitive understanding of some basic concepts than I've ever had. I think this was partially due to the fact that my previous master's, and my job, all involve applied statistics and programming, whereas when I took the GRE before (8 years ago) I had been doing sociology and political organizing. And the lectures were a great way to tap into that potential.

It helped me stay organised and of course, practice a lot of questions. Customised practice tests are the best! I can adjust the tests as per mood, strengthening my strong areas sometimes and improving my weak ones. Video lessons specially in Maths were made really well. They were clear and concise. The option to play the video at 2x is such a time saver. I also made full use of your GRE words app.

Magoosh helped me learn to quickly pick up clues about the fill-in-the-blank verbal questions. Once I began to improve my speed at answering these questions accurately, I realized that it was possible to preserve more time for the more difficult reading comprehension and argument analysis questions. This was invaluable. Additionally, with regard to the quantitative section, I had retained very little algebra from college. The last time I took a math class was when I was seventeen years old in community college. Magoosh is excellent for its presentation of basic mathematics. The videos enabled me to be better prepared for the types of questions I would encounter on the real test. I actually made a notebook of the math problems I got wrong, since I would write them out in their entirety in attempt to memorize how to solve questions of that type. Overall, Magoosh is well-worth the price, and I can't sing their praises highly enough!

1) Vocabulary: I learnt common words and basic words. Both of those lists helped me a lot.
2) Practice questions and English learning videos: I practiced all the RC questions and the text completion questions, and looked at all the videos. Both of them were very useful.

Magoosh was amazing! I wasn't too happy with my previous score, and so I spent the few months leading up to my test doing every single problem. There is no way around it - you have to practice. And magoosh offered so many problems with detailed explanations for the ones I got wrong. Just when I thought I knew every way I could be asked a geometry problem, they would throw in a curveball that forced you to look at a problem from a new perspective. More than anything, Magoosh taught me how to instinctively work through problems quickly and efficiently.

Magoosh helped a lot throughout my preparation. I had a month for preparation and Magoosh helped me set a schedule that I could follow and keep pace with. The question bank was very extensive and solving those presented a picture of the actual test. I wish to thank the Magoosh team for answering all my queries on the go.

Magoosh was absolutely awesome and I really appreciated all of the practice problems and video lessons. I watched every math lesson and did all the vocab flashcards and exceeded my target score by 5 points on my first time ever taking the GRE. The user interface was super easy to use and I loved the dashboard that kept track of your progress and estimated your score (it was correct!) and there weren't any surprises on the actual test. I only used Magoosh to study and feel like I was very well prepared because of it. I also loved how there were video explanations as well as text explanations for every single practice problem. Using Magoosh also made the experience of studying for the GRE not absolutely dreadful, and the way it is structured motivated me to keep doing practice problems in order to see my dashboard score increase. Overall I am so glad that I chose to study with Magoosh and am thankful for all the hard work you guys put in to making the GRE a conquerable feat!

Magoosh played a key role by providing video solutions to every problem at the same time, lectures that provide you how to tackle a particular problem. The plethora of questions that they provide should easily help you to apply and master the techniques that they teach you.

Math questions were challenging enough to prepare me for the actual test.

I hadn't looked at typical GRE / standardized test sort of questions in a long time. It got me back in to gear with lots of example questions. Also it helped me a lot on the writing.

Magoosh provided an effective structure to my studying plan. I wouldn't have known where to start without it. The video lessons and explanations really helped cement key ideas in my memory.

My first practice test, I scored a 316 (156 verbal, 160 math). Magoosh increased my score by 16 points!!! Great study schedules, practice problems, practice tests, instructional videos (both for lessons and as explanations to practice problems), and EXCEPTIONAL feedback from the team when I wrote in to ask follow-up questions about the practice problems. Also, I love the vocabulary flashcards! All in all, Magoosh’s platform was an extremely affordable, sure-fire way for me to increase my score.

It really helped with some shortcut math tricks that speeded up my calculations and the overall level of the verbal questions was at par with the actual GRE, so the verbal preparations was a great help.

Really rehashing the math concepts - I have a fairly quantitative background, but I had forgotten so much!
