I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

When I started practicing for the GRE using Magoosh's practice questions I was averaging about 153 on the verbal and 145 on the math. Magoosh helped me identify the areas in which I needed to improve - and which sections and lessons specifically to focus on. The tool that allows you to watch how a question you get wrong would be answered correctly is so beneficial, as is the ability to click for definitions of words.

I also found the lessons extremely helpful. As you can see by my scores, I am not particularly strong in math. However, I used the lessons provided on the Magoosh website, which made me much more comfortable with many of the math questions on the test. The lessons are taught in such a clear and concise manner that they were even easy for me to understand. They taught you exactly what you needed to know to answer math questions on the GRE - without adding a great deal of extraneous information.

Finally, the price I paid for all of this - $99 - was a steal in comparison to other study programs I considered. The fact that it was all available online also made it great for me... I work and go to school so I had to steal quick moments of study time whenever I could. Having the practice just a few clicks away made that possible.

I liked the high quality and sheer quantity of Magoosh's GRE questions.

It really helped to have a lot of GRE questions, and I really enjoyed the perspective score keeping me motivated to study.

I was always going to get a high score in the math section - having studied nothing but Mathematics in the last three and a half years. However, I was dreading the verbal section, I have no had to write an essay or use obscure words in a very long time. With Magoosh I was able to see where I was going wrong and learn new techniques to help me takel any problem. What I particularly liked was that they had video explanations for all of the questions.

I couldn't have taken the GRE without Magoosh. The math especially was laid out so sequentially and was a wonderful refresher of everything I had learned in high school. Without it, I think I would have bombed the math. The verbal gave me a host of words to study which was helpful.

I gave myself two months to prepare for the GRE. While I felt confident about the verbal section, I hadn't had a math class in 12 years. After taking a Magoosh practice test, I realized that I was not only woefully unprepared for the math section but that I had also overestimated my verbal proficiency! It was a wake up call and I got to work on the practice questions, taking practice tests every week. Magoosh was my only method of preparation for the GRE, and I when I took the test I raised my score 7 points on the math portion and 9 points on the verbal, for a total of 16 point improvement over that first practice test. I ultimately scored higher on the GRE than I did on any of the Magoosh practice tests! The verbal score is the one that really matters for my program, and thanks to Magoosh I ended up with a very competitive score. Thanks for making a fantastic product!

Magoosh served as the facilitator and organizer of my studying. I had 6 weeks to study, finished all the lesson videos in the first two, then did as many practice problems as I could thereafter. I also went through other books (PR), and found they provided little information that wasn't redundant with and more thoroughly covered by Magoosh. Finishing the lessons while taking notes, all while taking relevant quizes, helped sink in all of the knowledge strategies necessary. The most helpful part though was the practice questions - learning the material is less than half the fight, being able to apply it agilely are essential to doing well, so you need as many practice questions as you can get. The video explanations for each question were also an amazing resource, leaving no instances of confusion. Lastly, I read everything I could in the blog, and that taken into account, I doubt there's much more I could have done but more practice! Very thorough product, the predictions of my score based on my practice performance were accurate. Wish there were more ways I could thank those of you working at Magoosh. I wouldn't say any other resource could substitute - minus the obvious use of actual ETS practice tests/questions, everything you could imagine needing and more was here. Thanks!

Your product contains a lot of videos, which mostly explain answers very clear and make them easy to understand.

Immensely it helped especially Quants.
The BEST past about Magoosh is the score predictor. believe me or not, it is more accurate than Power prep.

Your product helped me to brush up on my math basics which were pretty rusty. Also, the explanation videos for every answer were a great help. The recommended lesson videos for every wrong problem helped me identify the problem areas and to revise the lessons with underlying concepts as many times as required until I got it right. This helped me move ahead 30 percentile points in my math score. This preparation helped me to have a methodical approach to solving problems and I was ready to face the GRE unafraid this time. Kudos to the team! I'm sure this venture of yours is destined to be a great success.

Magoosh was great for reviewing math concepts. The videos are more engaging than just reading a book. Answering questions online also helped prepare me to take the computer adaptive test.

Magoosh is the best prep source ever! The math concepts and problem solving approaches it provides are more than enough to make one feel confident during the test. Not to mention that each problem is accompanied by an explanatory video and you can ask as many question as you need. Verbal part was so good as to enable me to score on the verbal part of the test higher than on the math part, which seemed almost unbelievable at the beginning of my preparation. I could remember all the topics in math that I didn't review in a long time. Also, for the Verbal Section, I could get a lot of experience with Magoosh questions that prepared me for the GRE.

It was exactly like the real thing. It seemed even a bit more difficult, which made the actual test a breeze.

It had plethora of practice questions... those were enough to appear for the test... almost same level of hardness was there on the test day... Quant was a bit tough though on the original test. But your product is awsome.. Thank you guys :) :) :)

I was terrible at verbal and didn't know where to start with. I needed more guided practice which this product gave me.
Not only the video lessons provided useful tips but also the huge pool of practice questions and video explanations really helped me in getting over my verbal phobia.
Although I was good at quants, I needed revision of concepts and practice questions which I got with Magoosh and not once I regretted subscribing to Magoosh premium package. Best part of this subscription was that I could time my practice. It listed my speed alongwith the average speed of others for every question which was really helpful while writing the actual exam with time constraints.
My final scores were in the range as predicted by Magoosh.

The best thing about Magoosh is the video explanations for all questions. It really helps in quants. Tricks to solve the quants questions really helped to increase my score. I was getting 80 to 85% questions correct initially while taking practice quiz mode. But as days passed by my score increased up to 95 to 100 %.
In verbal, the method of elimination is your best tool and have been explained by lessons really good. I didn't expected my verbal score to be 151. I was hoping for 144-146 but during examination, even though i was not familiar with many words still was able to make the correct choices most of the times.

It was so helpful! The video lessons go over every topic imaginableand the fact that there is a quiz after each section really solidified what you learned. There were extremely helpful strategies for both the verbal and quantitative sections. I improved so much because of Magoosh! I've already told my friends that if they are thinking if taking the GRE, they need to sign up for this program.

Magoosh is a very nice product and was an essential part of my preparation. All the questions types were covered, problems were of various types and explanation was simply superb. It gave a very good idea about how to approach a problem. I would highly recommend this product for all the GRE aspirants.

The Magoosh GRE prep was *amazing*. I used the iPhone app so I could study anywhere. The practice questions were super helpful - not just because they were test questions, but because they were on the computer and timed. I have been out of school for over 20 years; so I needed that practice of answering the question on a computer.
